1. Check That All Panels Are Aligned Properly
Take an initial visual inspection of your car and look at all the different panels for the doors, sides, front end, and back end if your car. A quality repair job means that there will not be uneven gaps between any of these sections of your car, since gaps can cause the car to look slightly off.
Look at the gaps between the doors and side panels especially, because a misalignment could cause the doors to have difficult closing or opening. Using the paint color codes supplied by the manufacturer may not always work, because years of sun exposure can cause the paint to fade. It will take some professional skill to match the new paint to the existing color on your car so that it blends in perfectly.
It helps to pick your car up midday and look at the paint job under the sun instead of in the shop. This will help give you a better idea about if the color is consistent.
